Basic Environmental Policy
Our Environmental slogan is "Eco is important in any job".
In order to fulfill our mission, we’ve been promoting the idea of “implementing your thoughts in society” with our four services (platform service, engineering service, manufacturing service and repair service), which we have been cultivating in the electronics field since our establishment. To achieve the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), we are striving to contribute to the environment by reducing the environmental load in the business process through the following activities:
1. Recognize the environmental impact of JOHNAN’s activities, products and services; continuously improve environmental management systems and environmental performance; prevent adverse impacts on the environment; utilize sustainable resources; address climate change; and protect biodiversity and ecosystems.
2. Comply with environmental laws, regulations and other requirements that we have decided to accept. In addition, we prevent water pollution by promoting our environmental improvement products and carry out circuit board maintenance services to reduce our environmental burden.
3. Set environmental targets and goals with an emphasis on the following items, develop measures to achieve these targets, and work together with all staff to promote environmental activities.
- (1)Activities favorable to the environment, taking advantage of the characteristics of each base
- (2)Improvement activities for production, services and other activities
- (3)Expansion of the manufacture and sale of environmentally friendly products
- (4)Efficient use of energy
- (5)Waste reduction and promotion of recycling
4. JOHNAN Corporation actively communicates with relevant government agencies and local residents to promote environmental protection activities in local communities.
5. The environmental policy is published to all persons involved in JOHNAN Corporation and is disclosed to the public.

Environmental Activities and Business Activities
The JOHNAN Group will create value and deliver such value to its stakeholders. Our goal is to achieve a sustainable social contribution by combining environmental activities and business activities.
Biotope
The biotope was created as a symbol of environmental activities when we built the head office building in this area.
The word “biotope” is derived from a Latin expression meaning "a place where living things live."
With the waterside at the center, the north is named "North Hill," portraying a satoyama (traditional foothill village) landscape, and the south is named "South Hill,"portraying a farmer who has planted some fruit trees.
Oryzias latipes and dragonfly larvae inhabit the waterside.
Through the biotope, we will not only carry out environmental activities but also communicate with local people.
